My name is Della Marie McBride and I am a 43 year old proud mother of two wonderful children named
Jordan and Taylor. I live in the Penn Hills community. I am currently professionally employed in the
entertainment industry. I am the Unit Controller for the world famous Improv Comedy Club located in the
beautiful Homestead Waterfront. Some of my major responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
accounting, staff management, corporate donations, hospitality, interacting with celebrity management
and talent.
I have a strong professional background in management and accounting. I am currently an independent
consultant for Jafra International. My vision for the Ferns Foundation is one of eminent success. I plan to
be instrumental in expanding this program from the grass roots level to an internationally recognized
service program. My goal is ensure that African American women and girls continually strive to achieve
greater goals; experiencing greater success. I will provide guidance, instill discipline and give direction
in a selfless manner.
I chose the Ferns Foundation because I completely identify with the organizations mission. It is the
embodiment of my dream for not only my daughter, but for girls all over the world.
